Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STUBA) is a modern educational and scientific institution. Since itsfoundation in the year 1937 more than 115.000 students have graduated. In average, 19.000 students study at the STU every year. At present, the STU consists of seven faculties. All the STU faculties provide a study in accredited study programs within the complex system of a bachelor, master and PhD study. Faculties realise credit system compatible with the European credit transfer system enabling mutual mobility of students within European Union member countries and a larger European space. In the area of scientific and research activities the STU successfully joins European Union programs.
Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as "STU") is a modern educational and scientific institution. The ambition of the STU is to contribute to extending knowledge through its acquisition from science and to foster its dissemination via education as well as its application in direct co-operation with industry.The Faculty of Architecture Slovak University of Technology Bratislava (FASTU) is the largest educational institution for architects in the Slovakia, which provides education in architectural, interior and industrial design within the bachelor, master and doctoral programmes. Artistic and theoretical subjects are emphasized, together with a variety of technical anddesign subjects. The research programmes are an integral part of the Faculty curricula.
They focus on complex protection and creation of living environment. Faculty of Architecture, STU carries out research at an internationally compatible level in the field of Architecture and Urban Design, Industrial and Product Design. The most significant research topics relevant to the application are: Sustainable architecture and urban development, Landscape Architecture. Thematic research is being done by staff and co-researchers from the Academy of Sciences, other Faculties or practice under various grant programmes, complemented by exhibitions, workshops and competitions. Competences of FA STU are guaranteed by experiences with the realization of international projects as: FP6, FP 7, Cost, Erasmus+, INTERREG, etc.
Faculty is a member of ECLAS, IFLA, EAAE, AESOP associations. Research is supported by following centers: Centre of Sustainable and Efficient Architecture - "Architecture 2020", CeKA – Centre for Landscape Architecture, CEDA - Centre of Design for All, Computing Centre, Centre for Enterprise Activities, Educational and Research Centre in Banská Štiavnica, Model Simulation Laboratory.
E.C.E.C.E. is a state-of-the-art international non-profit organization designed to promote change for the better through education and innovation. Change can come about, for example, by supporting training & education organizations to innovate contents and approaches, or guiding university students to create their own future innovative careers, or promoting entrepreneurial mindset in young generation by sharing new methodologies and tools, or counseling firms who want to establish their businesses abroad, ...
ECECE is a key regional player in promoting change in society, business organizations and research / education institutions, being inspired by whole brain approach and design Thinking. Thanks to the know-how of its members and associates ECECE operates within three main divisions: facilitation of education and training innovation uptake, Project Management consulting and innovative business idea generation and planning. ECECE daily challenges are acquiring the most up to date knowledge in the culture of innovation development as well as an up to date knowledge of the latest methodologies addressed to education, training and counselling. Persistently working toward continuous improvement, and stretching its potential, ECECE have succeeded in developing models and tools that serve to identify innovation specific requirements, addressing them in the most effective and efficient manner.
ECECE strive to constantly upgrade and fine tune these methodologies. Thanks to a consolidated collaboration with the Bildungsdirektion für Wien and für Kärnten the Klagenfurt Universität [AAU], the Pädagogische Hochschule Kärnten, the Fachhochschule Kärnten, the Kärntner Volkshochschulen and directly with several schools in the region such as the Fachberufsschule Klagenfurt 1 und 2 (VET institutions), Gymnasium und Realgymnasium Klagenfurt – Lerchenfeldstraße, the Mittelschule St. Andrä, the Waldorfschule Klagenfurt and the International School Carinthia in Velden, ECECE is implementing new tools and methodologies to ease and then spread participative approaches for both teachers and pupils, in both formal and not-formal education environments. In this sense these experiences will be exploited to provide direct inputs to the testing phase by stressing the use of participative approaches based on design thinking (and more broadly the whole brain) approach to involve pupils into the testing / laboratories implementations. Inputs will be both made available for the whole partnership in the preparation phase and directly deployed on the Austrian schools. More in details the active collaboration with the Bildungsdirektion für Kärnten is making ECECE an active facilitator for schools and vocational training centers knowledge uptake in the project concerned field. Besides the cooperation with project partners and networking with local / regional relevant players ECECE has been responsible for the elaboration and delivery of Quality Plans for a proper implementation and monitoring of project activities and results, Social Business Models to support the start-up of social enterprises at local level and the release of Guidelines for projects follow-up and replication. Direct members of the group are 10 people with expertise in several fields leading to the general empowerment of people and knowledge transfer, within a network of various institutions / organisations inland and abroad. Having some of the members more than twenty years of experience in EU project management is making ECECE a real catalyst for various transnational cooperation opportunities for schools and non-formal education centers in the region.
The Institute for Vocational Training of Construction Workers in the province of Bologna (I.I.P.L.E.) was established in 1947 and for more than 70 years it has provided training for all professional profiles in the construction industry, in order to update, qualify and refine employees in the construction sector, as well as professionals and young people who wish to join this sector. It is an Institute for Training provided by the Collective Labour Agreement in the construction industry and is managed by a board of directors made up equally from The Association of Businesses and The Workers Trade Union. In addition I.I.P.L.E. is accredited by the region of Emilia-Romagna in the areas of Compulsory Education, Higher Education, Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning, Special User Groups, and Apprenticeships. In pursuit of its goals I.I.P.L.E. cooperates, in agreement or in partnership, with public and private institutions, other training organizations, companies, research centres, universities, technical institutes, and professional associations, using a management structure consisting of a directorship, an administration, a staff of instructional coordinators as well as a team of teachers, who are all experts with proven professionalism and competence. The School of Building/Construction is part of a national system which has its coordination body in the National FORMEDIL, which groups together over 100 building/construction schools throughout Italy. To help reduce the number of accidents at work by identifying the complex series of causes from which they originate, the two parties involved (the Association of Businesses and the Building Construction Union) have decided to initiate the Joint Committee on Territorial Operations (CPTO) in the province of Bologna at I.I.P.L.E. .
The main task of the CPTO is the promotion of information, the development of training initiatives and basic counseling for the prevention of accidents along with the dissemination of principles for safety and health protection for workers in the construction industry. I.I.P.L.E. aims to achieve the following objectives:
promote professional development and update of the workers, technicians, employers in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry;
provide the tools to outline a professionalism for workers in response to the quality and specialization of the labour force for the purpose of increased competitiveness within companies;
be a qualified point of reference for the educational needs of professionals and construction companies, provide training to Associations of Engineers and Architects, Owners, Tenants and Building Administrators;
spread the culture of BIM and digitalization in the construction sector through the creation and continuous development of BIM Academy Bologna
approach and attract young graduated technicians to the BIM process and, after the training period in IIPLE, facilitate their employment in the building companies, in order to bring digital innovation and influence on the everyday activities of the enterprises;
operate with a broader European scale by initiating specific collaborations with other countries, in regards to issues related the construction industry, energy efficiency, sustainability, safety and environment;
provide services to meet the training needs of public institutions related to the construction industry;
approach and attract young people to the construction sector through orientation activities;
outline courses of professional qualification and higher education for young people.
FUNDACION GFM RENOVABLES is a non-profit organization with over 20 years of experience in the field of training. Located in Villacañas, a small town in Toledo (Spain).With an extension of 3,200 m2 for the formative and technical units. Our entity has made a qualitative leap in terms of the adaptation to the needs of training and youth in the field of renewable energy. Collaborates with the entity GFM, a leader in the field of sustainability, renewable energies, environment, and entrepreneurship. The scope of the Foundation focuses on two main areas: -Encouraging the entrepreneurship and acquisition of personal skills of Students.
-Promoting awareness of renewable and sustainable energy Among its training programs in the last 4 years we highlight:
Training in social entrepreneurship among young people ( VET ) -Training in the acquisition of new skills, abilities, and personal promotion and incentive
Scholarship plan for practical training and dual vocational training
Participation in international organizations in renewable energy and environmental projects
Training in sustainability and renewables.
It also develops a strategic plan at the level of awareness actions in different areas at the level of public institutions (City Councils, Departments of Education, Ministry), schools, citizens' associations, educational institutions of professional training, high schools, universities, and employment support centers. Being one of its objectives also to promote gender and the inclusion of young women in all activities of the foundation.
FUNDACION GFM RENOVABLES is composed of 10 professionals who come from different backgrounds but who share the idea and need for a change in training adapted to efficiency and sustainability. Are committed to training in energy efficiency, ecological protection, environmental sustainability, and social and youth entrepreneurship. Provide solutions to expand the capabilities of young people, adults, and professionals in the fields of social entrepreneurship, creating a wide range of employment opportunities and the creation of social welfare. Collaborate in the provision of training courses with entities such as Castilla La Mancha University, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Toledo Chamber of Commerce, Renewables Foundation.
We have developed national and international collaborations in training in different countries such as Portugal, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. And with partners in Ethiopia, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Jordan, Singapore, and Bangladesh, Morocco. The Foundation promotes the interrelationship among its students and collaboration among them in such a way that they support themselves and their training, promoting ideas of entrepreneurship that lead to an improvement of their possibilities in the field of employment and acquisition of new social, economic, and sustainability opportunities. Our experience in training is based on the know-how and the continuous adaptation to the current training needs and are very active participation with VET training centres in the towns near their facilities (Villacañas, Consuegra, Tembleque) and are committed to the dual training of young VET. Are also collaborating with training entities at a European level such as the project partners in Romania, Greece, and Germany. Today's world requires operating in cross-cutting areas increasing the capabilities and skills with professionals and young people who provide new approaches with new styles and new "personal brands" that differentiate the rest of the students. The entire team of professionals at the Foundation has extensive experience in teaching and promotes a "particular" and "unique" approach for each student, promoting education and training adapted to the potential values of each student.
The Secondary Art School in Kežmarok is located in a small town at the foot of the High Tatras. The school specializes in artistic and multimedia education, offering study programs that prepare students for both university studies and direct employment in the labor market. A key characteristic of the school is its small working groups, consisting of 5-9 students, allowing for individualized instruction and enhanced creative development.

Photographic Design (FD): Concentrates on professional photography, digital image processing, and visual storytelling.
Conservation and Restoration of Wooden Sculptures (KRD): Focuses on the restoration of wooden and plastic artifacts, polychrome and gilded sculptures, vintage furniture, and wood carvings.

Additionally, the school co-organizes the international festival European Folk Craft in Kežmarok, celebrating traditional craftsmanship and creativity. A significant event in its calendar is the competition "My (Un)certainties", which was previously held under the auspices of the chairman of the Prešov self-governing region and is now under the patronage of MEP Miriam Lexmann.
